A missing man from Swindon was found after a huge police search tonight.
Ten police vehicles, a dog unit and the police helicopter were involved in the hunt for the missing 39-year-old from Pinehurst.
More than a dozen officers were witnessed searching nearby fields and woodlands on Pinehurst Road and Akers Way, St Mary’s Church grounds and under stream bridges.
Just moments after Wiltshire Police issued a public appeal for help in locating him he was located in St Mary’s churchyard on Akers Way at 9.15pm.
The man — who sparked a welfare concern search tonight — was taken to an ambulance for treatment.
