WEST COUNTRY – A man’s body has been discovered near an M4 motorway bridge.
A dog walker reportedly located the deceased person about five miles west the Wiltshire border, just north of Pucklechurch in South Gloucestershire.
Police and an ambulance rushed to the scene at around 2pm yesterday (Friday, 5 April).
Locals reported seeing a large police presence, and forensics combing the area. A section of land was cordoned off with crime scene tape.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson confirmed that a man’s body was discovered by a member of the public.
They said: “At this time, the man’s death is being treated as unexplained, but we don’t believe there are any suspicious circumstances.
“His next of kin have been informed and our thoughts are with them.”
