An elderly man is wanted by police in connection with the theft of thousands of pounds worth of designer glasses in Swindon town centre.
The incident occurred in Boots, within The Brunel shopping centre, at around 1.45pm on Wednesday this week, 6 September.
The stolen glasses’ frames – mainly Ray-Ban, Diesel, Jimmy Choo, Versace and Armani – are worth approximately £5,000, according to police.
A spokesperson said: “Officers are appealing for information to identify a man they would like to speak to in relation to the theft of pairs of glasses from Boots in Swindon.
“If you recognise this man or can help with our enquiries in anyway, please contact PCSO Aidan Hillier on 101 or anonymously, via Crimestoppers on 0800 111 555.”
