A man’s died after a medical emergency in a block of flats in Swindon town centre.

Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance landed behind Halfords on Fleming Way at around 2pm yesterday afternoon in order to attend the serious incident alongside Wiltshire Air Ambulance.

Emergency services, including three repaid response ambulances, an ambulance and a number of police vehicles, blocked Aylesbury Street as they attended the emergency in St John’s House.

The man, aged in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for HM Coroner. Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.”
