A man has suffered serious injuries in a road traffic collision in Royal Wootton Bassett.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Swindon Road shortly before midnight yesterday (Wednesday, 26 July).
A single vehicle, a van, overturned in the incident – resulting in the driver, a man aged in his 30s, sustained injuries described as potentially life-changing.
The road was closed until 6.30am.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We responded to a road traffic collision involving a van on Swindon Road, Royal Wootton Bassett just before midnight last night.
“A man in his 30s was taken to hospital with potentially life changing injuries.
“The road was closed for a number of hours but has now reopened.”
