A man has been named after a woman was kidnapped and stabbed in an attack in Swindon.
Emergency services were called to Dulverton Avenue, Park North, following reports of a serious incident on Thursday morning (3 September).
A woman, aged in her 30s, sustained a stab wound to her shoulder in a kidnapping – which police have confirmed is not life-changing or life-threatening.

Officers immediately launched a search for the suspect, deploying the National Police Air Service helicopter and armed police.
The suspect was located at, or near, his home in Radnor Street a short time afterwards and was taken into custody for questioning.
Marcelino Pacheco has since been charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent, kidnap, possession of a bladed article in a public place and breaching a restraining order.
The 46-year-old is due to appear at Swindon Magistrates Court this morning (Saturday).
