A man has been arrested for murder after a woman was found dead in Swindon.
Police responded to reports of a death at a house in Cowdrey Close, Toothill, in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday).
Emergency services attended, but a woman was confirmed deceased at the property.
A man, who was at the address, was arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody for questioning.
“Officers have put a cordon at the address while they investigate the circumstances”, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said.
