An investigation has been launched after a man was killed by a collapsing wall in Bristol.
Emergency services were called to the tragic scene in Parrys Lane, Stoke Bishop at 12.50pm on Wednesday (4 September).
The victim was “at work” when the incident happened, according to the police – with the Health and Safety Executive informed.
In a statement, an Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: “Officers are investigating the death of a man in Parrys Lane, in Stoke Bishop, Bristol, after receiving a call from the ambulance service at around 12.50pm today.
“His next of kin are aware and our thoughts are with them at this extremely difficult time.
“The man sadly died while at work and we are therefore liaising with the Health and Safety Executive and together, are carrying out enquiries into the incident.”
