A man has been charged with impersonating a police officer in Corsham.
It’s alleged Chris Green, 31, attempted to stop a member of the public in a Ford Fiesta equipped with a blue flashing light on Saturday (6 May).
He was arrested on the M4 by roads policing officers some hours after the alleged incident.
The defendant, of Nursery Close, Peterborough, will appear at Swindon Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday) after being remanded in police custody overnight.
