A man has died after collapsing in a locked toilet at a Swindon restaurant.
Emergency services rushed to the Toby Carvery in Abbey Meads at around 5.50pm yesterday (Wednesday 3 April).
Firefighters were called in to help open the door to the toilet – where a man, aged in his 50s, was found unresponsive.
Despite medics’ best efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Wiltshire Police said his death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson added: “Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time.”
