A man has died after emergency services were called to an incident in Devizes.
Numerous ambulance vehicles lined Osmund Road at around mid-morning (Thursday) as they attempted to save the life of a pensioner, aged in his 70s.
Three ambulances, a rapid response ambulance car and the Wiltshire Air Ambulance critical care car were in attendance alongside police, according to a witness.
Despite the best efforts of 999 responders, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Wiltshire Police confirm that there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his passing.
“Our thoughts are with his family”, a force spokesperson said.
