A man has died after emergency services were called to an incident in Warminster.
999 crews raced to reports of a casualty at The Bath Arms in Market Place at around 12.30pm this afternoon (Friday).
The man, aged in his 50s, was given CPR by members of the public, police officers and ambulance crews – but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Part of the Three Horseshoes car park, which links to The Bath Arms, was cordoned off by police.
Locals reported seeing seven police vehicles on scene. A fire officer was also in attendance.
Wiltshire Police confirmed that the incident related to the sudden death of a man aged in his 50s. The circumstances are believed to be non-suspicious.
“Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time”, a force spokesperson said.
