A man has died after an air ambulance was scrambled to an incident in Chippenham.
Ambulance crews were called to an address in Lowden at around 2.30pm on Friday (5 April).
South Western Ambulance Service sent two double-crewed ambulances, a paramedic officer and Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
The yellow and green helicopter touched down in Chippenham Cricket Club, off Bristol Road, before the critical care team were stood down.
Despite the best efforts of medics, a man, aged in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Wiltshire Police officers attended the property at around 3.30pm and a private ambulance arrived at approximately 5pm.
A force spokesperson confirmed that there “are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death”.
