A man was found dead in Amesbury after police were called to a house.
Officers responded to concerns for the welfare of the resident at a property in Pouncette Close at around 6pm yesterday evening (Sunday 18 June).
On arrival, a body was located – the man, aged in his 50s, was pronounced dead by paramedics.
Locals said officers, and forensics, attended the address and remained on scene for several hours.
Wiltshire Police has confirmed that the death isn’t being treated as suspicious and the man’s next of kin has been informed.
