A man was found critically injured outside a Swindon pub yesterday (Wednesday 23 March).
The casualty, aged in his 70s, was rushed to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries after being found outside the Kingsdown Pub in Hyde Road.
He was located at 6.30pm and now police are seeking a cyclist they believe was in the area at the time of the incident – which is being investigated by crash detectives.
It’s not clear if police believe the victim, who now is being treated at the Great Western Hospital, was struck by a cyclist.
“A cyclist is thought to have been in the area at the time and tapped on the window of the pub”, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said.
Adding: “If this was you, or if you know who this person is, please contact us as a matter of urgency.
“We would also like to hear from anyone else who may have seen what took place.
