A man has been caught on CCTV pocketing goods at a Wiltshire garden centre.
The suspect, accompanied by a woman, visited Lowden Garden Centre in Shaw, near Melksham, at around 10.30am yesterday morning (Thursday, 22 February).
The man was caught on a nearby CCTV camera putting two pairs of secateurs into this jacket’s internal pocket. Moments later, he turns back to grab two more pairs.
The suspect is believed to have then left the garden centre without making payment.
A spokesperson for the company said: “Does anyone recognise these two? They visited us at about 10.30am yesterday.
“Unfortunately it looks like they forgot to pay for the 4 pairs of secateurs stuffed in his jacket (easily done I’m sure!). We didn’t even get a chance to get them onto the shelf!”
Lowden Garden Centre is asking anyone with the suspect’s identify or any other information to contact them via Facebook or [email protected].
It’s not known if the incident has been reported to Wiltshire Police. The garden centre has been approached for a crime reference number.
