A man’s been arrested after police found drugs during a raid in Devizes.
Officers attended Kingfisher Drive early this morning (Thursday) to carry out a warrant.
Armed police supported local officers in gaining entry to the building and securing those within.
Police Dog Bracken helped with the search and located a significant amount of Class A and B drugs – which have since been seized.
A man has been arrested in connection with the warrant. It’s not yet clear for what offences he is being held in custody.
Sgt Wickham from the Neighbourhood Policing Team has said “Like much of our activity, this warrant has been led by information and concerns from the community.
“I want to assure you that we will act as quickly as we are able to in response to the supply of drugs in Devizes”
