A man was airlifted to hospital after a multiple-vehicle road traffic collision in Cricklade
Emergency services attended the four-vehicle crash on the Chelworth Crossroads, on Malmesbury Road, at around 5pm yesterday afternoon (12 May).
Great Western Air Ambulance touched down near the scene, before flying an injured man, in his 70s, to Southmead Hospital in Bristol.
The man’s injuries are described as serious but they’re not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.
Wiltshire Police launched a collision investigation following the smash. The road was closed in all directions for several hours.
