A man accused of murdering his wife and daughter in Salisbury earlier this year has pleaded not guilty, meaning he will face trial.
39-year-old Marcin Zdun was detained in the street by members of the public after Aneta and Nikoletta Zdun were found fatally injured at their family home on 1 June.
Police and ambulance crews were sent to the house in Wessex Road where the pair, aged 40 and 18, were found with knife wounds and pronounced dead at the scene.
Appearing at Winchester Crown Court on Friday, Mr Zdun – with the support of a Polish interpreter – pleaded not guilty to two counts of murder.
He was remanded in custody ahead of a three-week trial at Salisbury Crown Court beginning on 30 November.
