A man has been arrested after ‘exposing himself’ in a Trowbridge coffee shop.
Police responded to reports of male showing his genitals in the at around 12.43pm afternoon (Monday).
A 70-year-old suspect was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure and was taken to Gablecross custody for questioning.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “At 12:43 this afternoon we were called to Trowbridge Town Centre, following reports that a male had exposed himself within a coffee shop.
“A number of officers from Team 2 Response as well as officers from the Trowbridge and Melksham Neighbourhood Policing Team immediately attended the location to speak to witnesses, check CCTV and conduct an area search.
“53 minutes after the initial report, a 70 year old male was arrested on suspicion of Indecent Exposure and is currently on route to Gablecross Custody.”
