A person has died after ‘falling from a multi-storey car park’ in Swindon town centre.

Emergency services rushed to the incident in the Fleming Way area at around 2.10pm today (3 July).

Witnesses say two ambulances and numerous police vehicles were spotted responding into the area.

Wiltshire Air Ambulance also landed in The Park, in Faringdon Road, to attend the incident.

Despite the large 999 response, the man, in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A Wiltshire Police spokesperson confirmed they were called to a sudden death in Fleming Way, with a “man in his 30s was sadly pronounced dead at the scene”.

“There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances. Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time”, they added.
