A 20-year-old man’s been charged with drink driving after a crash in Trowbridge.
Emergency services were called to Castle Street at around 10.30pm on Saturday, following reports of a multiple vehicle road traffic collision and a car on fire.
One fire crew from Trowbridge extinguished one of the vehicles and made the scene safe.
Lewis Button, 20, of Horningsham, Warminster, has been charged with drink driving. He is due at Salisbury Magistrates Court on 9 February, Wiltshire Police say.
It was initially reported that a vehicle has collided with JMS Carpets and Flooring shopfront. We understand that the car only caused minor superficial damage to the shop’s wall.
