A major A-road in Wiltshire is closed as the air ambulance attends a crash.
Emergency services were called to a road traffic collision on the A36 in the Warminster area at around 1pm this afternoon (Tuesday).
Wiltshire Air Ambulance landed near the scene, indicating that the incident is serious and the road could be closed for some hours.
Further details are unclear at this early stage – but one witness claims it involved a motorbike.
The route is shut between the A350 Crockerton Green and Cotley Hill Roundabout.
This is resulting in significant traffic delays along Deverill Road and Norton Road as motorists divert.
