Police are appealing for information from the public regarding the whereabouts of a woman who is missing from the Bradford on Avon area.
Heather Hodgson, who is aged in her late 70s, lives with dementia and has gone missing from her home in Limpley Stoke this afternoon.
Heather is described as 5 ft 6 inches tall, with short grey hair. She is believed to be wearing a straw hat with a dark blue band around it, a red cardigan and a red, black and white checked shirt and brown shoes.
The National Police Air Service helicopter was deployed to assist with the urgent hunt for Heather, as were volunteers from Wiltshire Search and Rescue.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We are concerned about Heather’s welfare and would urge anyone who may have seen her to get in touch.
“Anyone who sees Heather should call 999 immediately.”
