A major route in Swindon is closed as police deal with a mental health incident.
Tewkesbury Way, between Mannington Roundabout and Toothill Roundabout, was shut in both directions before 4pm today (Wednesday 30 November).
Officers are currently engaging with a ‘distressed person’ on a footbridge above the road.
It’s not yet known how long the route will be closed but motorists should avoid the area.
