There are severe delays on the M4 following a multi-vehicle road traffic collision.
Emergency services were called to the incident on the approach to junction 15 westbound t around 1.30pm today (4 September).
Lanes one and two are closed between junctions 14 and 15, with 999 crews working at the scene.
National Highways said: “M4 Westbound J14 Hungerford to J15 Swindon, we have a lanes 1 and 2 closure in place due to a multi-vehicle traffic collision.”
The agency added: “[There are] currently delays of 49 minutes above normal journey times and six miles of congestion.
“Road users are advised to allow extra time for their journeys.”
