A large search operation was underway in Laverstock earlier today, when a woman’s dog returned home without her – sparking serious concerns for her welfare.
The search, which involved the police and members of the public, came to a positive end when the missing woman was located on Laverstock Downs in heavy snow.
She’d fallen over, and was taken to Salisbury District Hospital with minor injuries.
A spokesperson from Salisbury Police said: “We’d like to thank all of the local dog walkers and residents who helped us to search.”
