A number of kind-hearted Lyneham residents have spent part of their Tuesday afternoon attempting to catch a runaway dog in the area.

UPDATE 5PM: Dog found safe and well.

Despite their best efforts, the dog – a Husky – is still on the run.

The very nervous dog was last seen in the Melson Road area at around 2pm.

Toni-marie Athey, who lives in the area, is appealing for the owner, or anyone that knows the owner, to contact us via our Facebook page, or email for her mobile number.
