A former nightclub boss has been charged with seriously assaulting his wife.
Jason Ranford, 35, is due to appear at Swindon Magistrates’ Court today (3 May).
The defendant, of Hinton Parva Lane, faces an allegation of assaulting his wife and causing her actual bodily harm in an attack on Sunday, 1 May.
He is currently held in police custody and will be put before the bench at today’s remand court.
Magistrates will decide if the circumstances of the case mean it should be sent to the crown court and whether Radford will be released on bail or remanded in custody.
