The ID of a dog walker is sought after a man was bitten at Wiltshire nature reserve.

The incident happened at the popular Jubilee Lake in Royal Wootton Bassett between 10.30am and 10.40am on 18 August.

It’s claimed an unknown man lost control of his dog, which attacked another dog.

The owner of the dog under attack was then bitten as he intervened. His injury has since become infected.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We appreciate the images are taken from some distance away but hope someone might be able to recognise the pair.

“If this is you, or you recognise the man and his dog, please contact us on 101 quoting reference number 54240103962.

“You can also report to us through our website.

“Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where information can be left anonymously.”
