Hundreds of homes in the Swindon area are without power tonight.
Properties in 101 postcodes were plunged into darkness at 10.29pm on Monday 6 March.
The major power cut is understood to be affecting homes in the Liddington, Stratton, South Marston, Bishopstone and Faringdon areas.
Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks said: “We apologise for the loss of supply. We currently have a fault affecting the areas listed. Our engineers are on site working to get the power back on as quickly as they can.”
Power is expected to be restored at around 0.30am on 7 March.
