House and garden taped off as crime scene after ‘serious incident’ in Swindon

A house and garden have been taped off as a crime scene in Swindon this evening following a serious incident.

There’s a heavy police presence at the property in Pinehurst Road, near the junction with Poplar Avenue, at present.

One casualty has been rushed to hospital with what are understood to be serious injuries following an assault. An ambulance left the scene on blue lights at around 7.30pm.

Police vehicles are also parked along the road, near The Venny, signifying a possible suspect search.
