A homeless woman has been raped in Swindon town centre on Sunday night.
Police officers responded to reports of a ‘serious’ sexual assault having taken place on wasteland near to the bus station at around 8.30pm on 20 May.
Following the attack, a 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of rape. He’s since been released under investigation while police enquiries continue.
Wiltshire Police believe the alleged attacker was known to the victim.
