A Hertfordshire man suspected of abducting Leah Mullins has been released from custody.
Police arrested the man, aged in his 20s, after the 14-year-old disappeared from Sherston, near Malmesbury, on 29 December.
It’s believed she entered a vehicle and was taken out of the county – before police located her safe and well, and arrested the man she was with.
In an update, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “A man arrested on suspicion of child abduction following the disappearance of a teenage girl from Sherston has been released on conditional bail.
“The man, who is in his 20s, from Hertfordshire was arrested on New Years Eve and taken to Gablecross police station in Swindon for questioning.
“He was released this morning pending further enquiries.”
