There’s been a heavy police presence in one part of Swindon this afternoon as officers searched for a missing person.
The National Police Air Service deployed a helicopter from Bristol to assist police in the Highworth Road area of Stratton.
Several police vehicles could be seen patrolling the area, with officers walking in nearby fields in search of the vulnerable missing person.
Officers were also seen in Stratton Woods.
It’s believed the person was missing from Sandlewood Court, an NHS mental health facility.
Wiltshire Police say they have now been found safe.
