A group of young teenagers have caused damage to a number of wing mirrors in Westbury.

At around 10pm on Tuesday, a the group – aged between 13 and 16  and wearing hoodies, were chased by Springfield Road residents after kicking a number of wing mirrors.

The group then ran off in the direction of Redland Lane.

A Fiat Punto, Renault Megane, Vauxhall Vectra, Volkswagen Golf and Volkswagen Passat were all damaged.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police commented: “This is the second such incident in the same location this month and this leaves the vehicle owners facing a large repair bill for their vehicles just before Christmas, so this is not a victimless crime.

“We are currently looking at CCTV captured at the time which shows the incident. If you witnessed this and are able to assist with identifying the offender please call 101 and quote reference 54170118140.”
