‘Gang members’ took turns punching and kicking their robbery victim in Calne.

Wiltshire Police say the attack took place at Calne Recreation Club at around 6.30pm last Wednesday, 22 September.

The male victim, whose age is unknown, was approached by the ‘gang’ close to Anchor Road before punching and kicking him.

As a result, he fell to the floor and the ‘gang’ then stole his cap and phone.

Officers later arrested three people on suspicion of robbery and assault but the force needs help identifying five others also involved.

“We’ve arrested three members of the gang on suspicion of robbery and assault, but we’d like your help in identifying five more people who were believed to be there”, a police spokesperson said.

“If you saw what happened and know any of the people involved, you contact us the Wiltshire Police website or by calling 101 and quoting reference 54210092709.

You can also report anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
