Two fire crews, several ambulances and police attended the multi-vehicle road traffic collision outside The Sally Pussey’s Inn.
Four vehicles, including two cars and a van, were involved in the incident – which resulted in the major route being closed or partially blocked for around three hours.
One person was taken to hospital with injuries, but nobody sustained any serious wounds.
A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: “We responded to a crash involving four vehicles on the A3102 just before 5pm yesterday (11/12).
