Four people have been arrested in Melksham after a shop theft in a nearby town.
Police were searching for a vehicle linked to high-value shoplifting at Boots in Warminster this afternoon (Saturday).
Around 50 items were taken, with a value of between £750 and £1,000.
Officers located the suspect car in the Spa Road area at around 3.30pm. It was stopped with the help of armed police and traffic cops.
Four people in the vehicle — men aged in their 20s — were arrested and have been taken to custody for questioning.
The force confirmed that the stolen goods were recovered.
