UPDATE: Highworth crime scenes lifted after police investigate ‘miscarriage’
Forensics are combing two homes in Highworth amid a ‘major investigation’.
Emergency services responded to reports of a medical incident at a property in Queens Avenue on Friday evening (25 October) before launching a probe into the circumstances.
The house involved has been declared a crime scene, as has a second house in nearby Vorda Road – which is also being guarded by police officers.
At least five forensics wearing white overalls were present on Saturday (26 October), combing both addresses for evidence and taking photographs. Several detectives were also on scene.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police confirmed that an investigation is ongoing following a “medical incident”, but added that it “would be inappropriate to comment further at this time”.
The force has not provided any details on the person involved in the medical emergency, nor have they said if any arrests were made in connection with it.
