Forensics arrive at scene of serious assault in Swindon town centre alleyway

Forensic investigators have this morning arrived at the scene of a serious assault, thought to be a stabbing, in a Swindon town centre alleyway.

The attack, which is understood to have put one man in hospital, took place off Corperation Street at around 0.30am.

Police officers remain at the scene this morning, 10am, guarding the cordons as CSI work to photograph and investigate the incident.
