Firefighters extinguished a fire in a Swindon flat this afternoon.
Emergency services, including ambulance, police and fire, attended Charminster Close in the Nythe area of the town at around 1pm, following reports of a serious fire.
On arrival, firefighters discovered a blaze on the third floor of a block of flats.
One fire engine from Stratton Community Fire Station and one from Swindon Community Fire Station responded to the incident, extinguishing the fire shortly after arriving on scene using four breathing apparatus, two hose reels and a covering jet.
A thermal imaging camera and air monitoring equipment was also used by firefighters.
No one was injured in the fire.
