Firefighters have stopped the car fire from spreading across the countryside this afternoon.

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service sent two engines from Malmesbury and Chippenham to the incident off Honey Lane, Norton, at just after midday.

The blaze, which destroyed a Land Rover Discovery, was extinguished using one main jet.
