Firefighters have been called in to help move a patient out of a house in Swindon.
Emergency services have been working at the scene in Moredon Park since 11.30am today (29 March).
South Western Ambulance Service was called to a medical emergency at an address, before requiring assistance from the fire service to move the patient.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service (DWFRS) has five vehicles at the scene – including a heavy rescue unit and aerial platform appliance.
South Western Ambulance Service appear to have a single ambulance crew on site.
The road is blocked by 999 vehicles attending the scene.
A spokesperson for DWFRS said: “We received a call at 10.52am this morning regarding an incident on Moredon Park, Swindon.
“A crew from Swindon, two technical rescue teams from Trowbridge, and the Aerial Ladder Platform from Swindon attended to assist ambulance crews in moving a patient from a property.”
