Firefighters freed a casualty who was trapped in an overturned car near Pewsey.
Emergency services were called to a road traffic collision involving a single vehicle close to Bristow Bridge at around 11.30pm last night (1 April).
The police and ambulance service arrived first, before requesting help from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service (DWFRS) due to a casualty being trapped inside.
Fire crews from Pewsey and Marlborough fire stations were sent to the scene, where they freed the person from the upside down car alongside paramedics.
In a statement, DWFRS said: “Once at scene, the crews discovered that the car had overturned and ended up in a ditch with one casualty still inside the vehicle.
“Our crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to release the casualty and worked in conjunction with South Western Ambulance Service and Wiltshire Police.”
Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to free the casualty – who isn’t thought to have suffered any significant injuries.
