Firefighters quickly extinguished a shed blaze in Royal Wootton Bassett this morning.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service received a number of calls from local residents reporting the fire or a large plume of black smoke in the area at around 9.40am.
A crew from Royal Wootton Bassett arrived at the scene in Home Ground, Woodshaw, a short time later, bringing the fire under control within minutes.
The flames were extinguished using a main jet and hose reel jet.
A small shed and part of a garden fence were destroyed by fire, as plumes of smoke were seen for miles around.
A fire service spokesperson said: “Thank you to all adjoining neighbours of affected properties for allowing Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service crew access to get this swiftly under control.”
