Firefighters are dealing with a major fire involving three hectares of crop fields in Wiltshire.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service sent seven fire engines to extinguish the blaze – between Warminster and Salisbury – this afternoon (Tuesday, 9 August).
Fire crews remained on the scene in Deptford at 3.45pm.
The fire service confirmed that a stubble field and approximately 100 bales of hay were alight.
As well as the fire engines, a 4×4 pumping appliance and two water carriers are in attendance.
