Firefighters are battling a blaze at a popular takeaway in Melksham.
999 crews raced to reports of smoke billowing from a building in Granville Road at around 4.30pm this afternoon (Friday).
Fire crews from Westbury, Calne and Trowbridge attended the incident, with firefighters entering Lee’s Fish and Chips and upstairs flats.
An ambulance and ambulance rapid response vehicle were on scene, but it’s not yet been confirmed if anyone was hurt.
The fire was under control at 5.15pm, but emergency services remain present.
