Firefighters are tackling a blaze involving a barn in Enford, on Salisbury Plain.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service (DWFRS) was called to the incident at around 4pm.
Tonnes of hay is well alight in a farmer’s barn located in a field off Water Lane.
A spokesperson for DWFRS said: “If you’re in the Enford area, you may be aware of smoke – we’re currently dealing with a barn fire. Keep doors/windows closed if you’re concerned.”
Three fire engines and a water bowser at in attendance. It’s understood police and Landmarc, the security firm responsible for Salisbury Plain Training Area, are also on site.
