An Environmental Protection Unit has attended a large diesel spillage in Amesbury.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service sent crews from Salisbury Fire Station to the scene on Countess Road near the A303 at around midday today, Sunday 18 February.
The Environmental Protection Unit from Gillingham, Dorset, also attended the incident.
The spill was caused by a leak in a vehicle’s fuel tank.
Crews used a peristaltic pump, floodlit mat and absorbant granules to deal with the spill.
